The Grand Xmas Match was fished on the Rochdale canal at Todmorden by 29 seniors and 6 juniors. The seniors fished on Summit length, with the juniors fishing on Nehesco.
Junior Result:
Most improved angler was Ryan Martin.
Senior Result:
Only about 3 entrants did not catch.
Pie chips and peas was served to all entrants back at the Hollins Inn after
the match. The mayor of Todmorden Cllr Goldthorpe presented all the trophies to
the junior and seniors 2003 winners.
The draw for the 5 year membership was
won by Mr J.E.Peck of Todmorden.

Lower Town House Fishery will open to members on 01-04-2004 with keepnets banned except in matches.
The Grand Xmas Match is on Sunday 14th December for junior and senior members only. Ticket only. Tickets are £10 senior £5 junior inc pie,chips, and peas back at the Hollins after the match. Draw at the Hollins Inn up to 9:00 am fish 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. Summit downwards. Trophies and prizes will be presented back at the Hollins after the food. Lets see a good turnout. The draw for the 5 year membership will also take place ( for those who paid into the stocking fund).
