There is a Trophy match on 1st February, on Croft Head. Draw upto 8:00am. Fish 8:30 am to 1:00 pm. £5 entry with 100% payout. 50p of the entry is paid to the Angler who catches the largest 'fish of the day'

Membership is still open at last years prices, but tomorrow (31st January) is the last day to get your ticket without paying the entry fee. From Sunday 1st February there is a £10 entry fee. See subs for details.

Membership of T.A.S is now open for 2004 at the same price as last year see subs for details.

Day tickets are available for some of our waters ( Cliviger fish ponds, Grove lodge, Croft lodge ) , and MUST be bought in advance. Any angler failing to produce a valid ticket when challenged will be charged DOUBLE or PROSECUTED for poaching.

A 5 year membership is still available from the ticket secretary at £150 for senior for 2004 - 2008 inclusive. Other members wanting a 5 year membership ( disabled ) price is 5 times  current annual membership.

Juniors start their matches on 30th April ( members only ).

Tuesday matches start on 15th June ( members only ).

Sunday Club Championship ( trophy )  matches start on 1st February at Croft. Members only. Please ring Wilf on 01706 872821 to book on. Draw up to 8:00 am fish 8:30 am to 1:00 pm.

Lower Town House will open to members for fishing on 1st April 2004. MEMBERS ONLY. NO KEEPNETS except in matches.

B.W.B. recently removed 8 pike from the Rochdale canal, two more similar operations are planned during January/February.

The new stock pond has now been built to enable fish to be bred and grown on for stocking.
