Next Tuesdays match ( 2nd July ) is on Library to Cross Keys sections of the Rochdale canal. Draw Pockets car park up to 5:45 pm. Fish 6:15 pm to 9:30 pm. £7 all in. Members only.
The last Sunday open match was fished on Lanebottom and White House sections
of the Rochdale canal by 25 competitors.
Result:
The next Sunday open match is on 30th June. Draw Lanebottom up to 8:30 am. Fish 10;00 am to 3:00 pm. £12 all in. Ring 01706 290642 or 01706 650954 to book on.
Junior matches continue on Wednesdays. Draw up to 6:00 pm. Fish 6:45 pm to
8:45 pm. £1 entry.
3rd July at Derdale.
17th July at Fothergills.

Matches then revert
back to Saturday.

Plenty of tench and big perch being caught on the canal at Littleborough. Bream, tench, perch and carp being caught at Walsden print co. Plenty of tench and 'bits' at Cliviger. Plenty of big carp and chub on the canal. Croft head fishing well for tench, roach and carp.
Next Wednesday June 26th the juniors have a match on the canal on Finney's section draw up to 6pm fish 6.45 - 8.45 members only (only £5p pa) £1 only.
Next Tuesday June 25th the seniors have a match at SmithyBridge - draw lorry park up to 5.45 fish 6.15 to 9.30pm £7 all in. Members only. The juniors have a 'fun day' and 'taster' session for juniors wanting to try angling for the first time - Sat July 27th 9.30 - 3.30 write in your diary.

Most waters are now fishing briliantly for all species, with Cliviger fishponds, Grove lodge, New Mill dam and Croft head being best among the still waters.The canal usually produces good weight all along in summer when the water warms up.
Juniors have a match on Lanebottom section of Rochdale Canal this coming Wednesday 19th June draw at 6:00 pm fish 6:45 to 8:45. £1 only. Members only.
Seniors have a match on Tuesday 18th June draw at Lanebottom. Fish Warland to Dead Length. Draw up to 5:45 pm. Fish 6:15 pm to 9:15 pm. £7 'all in', members only. Membership is still avaliable from local tacle shops. £5 junior p.a (birth - 16 years) senior £36 (inc. £10 entry fee payable once only providing subs paid by 31st January each year) or £13 only for O.A.P (over 65) ladies, wheelchair/limbless disabled.
Day tickets only avaliable for Cliviger fishponds Grove and Croft at £3 senior, £1.50 junior in advance of fishing otherwise double will be charged on the bank. Day ticket anglers may not use keep nets and may only use one rod (or pole) at any one time.
Junior tutoring sessions will take place on the canal (Library) every Sunday at 1:00 pm -ring 01706 817232 for more info. Next open match is on Dead Length - Summit on June 30th - £12 'all in' ring 01706 290642 or 01706 650954 to book on.
Last Tuesday's match was fished on Lanebottom with 5 carp winning it!
