The last Sunday trophy match for members only was fished on Summit lengthof
the Rochdale canal by 22 members in wet and very windy conditions, this made
bite detection very difficult.
Result:
The 'FISH OF THE DAY' was a 1½oz Perch caught by Andrew
Crossley.
The next trophy match is this Sunday 28th March also on the Summit
section of the Rochdale canal. Ring Wilf Doyle on 01706-872812 to book on.
Members only.
Members should now be benefitting from recent fish stockings to most of our waters.
Lower Town House Fishery re-opens to members only on Thursday 1st April. NO KEEPNETS. NO NIGHT FISHING.
Tuesday evening matches start for members only on Tuesday 15th June.
Junior matches are on Friday evenings this year and start on 30th April with a match on Library length.

The
Cliviger match was a very poor weight affair, owing to the fish not feeding in
very cold crystal clear water.
Result:
